We are a startup — and we are all in
PylonCheck is a startup project built without a big investor behind it. Development, testing on real batteries, the cloud and day-to-day operations took hundreds of hours and a serious amount of our own money. Every device sold goes straight back into development — new features, support for more batteries and a more stable cloud.
If you join us, expect the occasional hiccup. We fix things fast and communicate openly — and together we will get this project flying.

No programming, no VPN setup. The box contains the micro PC, an SD card pre-loaded for automatic cloud connection, cables and power.

Connect to the battery
Plug the micro PC into the communication port (ETH) of your Pylontech battery using the included cable and converter. The battery must have an active Ethernet connection. Wi‑Fi is possible, but only by prior arrangement.

Connect to the internet
One network cable (ETH) to your router. The device registers with our cloud automatically. A Wi‑Fi setup can be prepared by prior arrangement.

Open the dashboard in your browser for live data, history and fault alerts.

Changing battery configuration: at your own risk
Battery configuration can be changed through the interface, but strictly at your own risk. Incorrect changes may affect battery behaviour and its warranty. We recommend changing settings only after consulting your battery supplier.
Automation and optimisation: coming later
Automated scenarios, charge optimisation and tariff integration arrive in future updates. Beta customers get them at no extra cost.
Hardware
The device is functional and tested in a metal enclosure with USB, Ethernet and battery connection ports.

What is in the box?+
A pre-configured micro PC for automatic cloud connection (specific model depends on component availability, e.g. NanoPi NEO, Raspberry Pi or equivalent), an SD card, a 220V power adapter, a battery communication converter and a connection cable. Shipping is charged separately based on destination.
Does the battery need an Ethernet connection?+
Yes. The micro PC connects to the battery's communication port (ETH), so the battery must have an active network connection. The device then reaches our cloud on its own using an outbound connection. Wi‑Fi connectivity is possible, but only by prior arrangement — contact us before ordering and we will prepare the device accordingly.
Which batteries and systems are supported?+
See the detailed compatibility list above. Compatibility is currently verified for Pylontech US2000C, US3000C, US5000C, Force H2 and the high-voltage H48050. We are actively working on support for SOLAX, Huawei and DEYE batteries and systems. LV HUB connection for multiple low-voltage stacks will come in a future update. Please enter your battery type in the order so we can prepare the device accordingly.
Do I need to configure anything?+
No. The device ships pre-configured. Connect it to the battery and the network and the rest happens automatically.
Do I need a static IP or open ports?+
No. The device opens an outbound connection to our cloud, so nothing has to be exposed on your router.
Where do you ship?+
We ship worldwide. Shipping cost is confirmed per destination.
Does it affect the battery or its warranty?+
The device only reads data. It does not control the battery or change any BMS settings.
Can I change the battery configuration through PylonCheck?+
Yes, battery configuration can be changed, but strictly at your own risk and responsibility. We take no liability for the consequences of changed BMS settings. Monitoring and supervision themselves work fully reliably.
Does the photo match the actual product?+
Yes, the photo shows the actual PylonCheck device in a metal enclosure. The specific micro PC inside may vary based on component availability, but the appearance and functionality remain the same.
